IN THE UNITED STATES AND IN NEVADA

ESTIMATES ARE AS HIGH AS $30 BILLION TO IMPLEMENT CC IN THE UNITED STATES.

According to THIS ARTICLE in Education News: The total seven year cost for CC would be $15,800,000,000 for the United States. Of that $15.8 billion, the federal government will pay a total of $5.4 billion (in grants). That leaves the states to pay $10.4 billion.

Table one estimates how much it will cost each state to implement CC.

Nevada - The article estimates CC will cost NV $151,000,000.

This estimate seems very low because:

Clark County School District's Kirsten Searer has said they will spend $8 Million per year just to train teachers in CC

Washoe County School District's Superintendent, Pedro Martinez said WCSD will spend $1.7 Million for seven years just to train teachers in CC.

So it appears the state of NV will likely spend about $100 Million over seven years just to train teachers in CC.
